Ebony hairstyles can look amazing! Ebony hair is beautiful, shiny, and can make any woman look like a goddess – as long as you take care of it of course! This is true for any type hair, but with ebony hair, a style that looks good on a blonde can look incredible on a woman with ebony hair because of the many different hues, highlights, and shine that ebony hair has. Here are a couple of hairstyles to try.

If you are looking to go natural, then a straw set is the perfect way to wear your hair. You won’t need to do a lot of combing and it’s very easy to do. You need drinking straws or small perm rods (if you want bigger, looser curls,) tissue papers, and setting lotion. First, shampoo and condition your hair, saturating it with setting lotion. Then part it into sections of 1/4 to 1/2 inch and put the papers on the end of the hair. Roll onto the straws and secure with a pin. Do the entire head and then dry under a hard hat or bonnet hair dryer. Remove the straws and separate the curs with your fingers. Remember to spay oil sheen so your hair won’t get too dry but you’ll only need to use your fingers to comb your hair.

Another great look for ebony hair is the doobie wrap. This is also called a dry wrap or roller wrap set. This is a very easy style to do and very beautiful. Roller set your hair and then dry under a hooded dryer. Remove the rollers and comb or brush your hair around into a wrap. Leave that for a while, and then when you comb it all down, you’ll end up with loose, wavy curls and lots of body for a gorgeous look.
