Sometimes you want to underplay your hair’s natural beauty, but other times you will want to accentuate your natural curls! Take Beyonce’s strong, curly hairstyle for instance. When this girl wants to bring out the glamour, she brings out the big curls!

And while Beyonce’s hair is naturally curly, many hair types can get this kind of curl. It may be harder for very thick hair types, but with a great amount of mousse it isn’t impossible. We have seen it done! But with curly hair, you don’t need too much to make it look as good as Beyonce does.

First, make sure that your hair is healthy. Make sure that you trim any split ends and wash your hair with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Then you will need some small rollers and a blow dryer. Make sure that you get all of your hair in the rollers starting with the top layers and going all the way to the base of your neck.

You can also try this with paper bag strips and rolling each strand of hair around a paper bag like a roller. In fact, the tighter rolls of the paper bag strips might actually give you more curl! Search for “hair curling with paper bags” on YouTube if you are curious.

Once the curls are dry, you pull out the curlers (or paper bags) and fluff with a brush or with your fingers and a little hair spray. You will find this fairly tedious to do, but the highly voluminous and glamorous effect is undeniable!
