You know her as the mild mannered star of our hearts Beyonce, but when she hits the stage she becomes Sasha Fierce! You thought we were going to say Cleopatra Jones, didn’t you? Well her hair was fierce in that movie too, but luckily that is not the faddish look Beyonce typically portrays.

Beyonce’s alter ego shows through in every performance that she does because her stylists really know how to bring out the wild side in her style! Beyonce has beautiful hair and when she is showing her “fierceness”, she styles her golden strands with vertical curls from root to tip. And her hair is purposely made to get a little wild looking which works really well with her naturally frizzy and curly hair.

But if you want to copy this style and you don’t have natural curly and frizzy hair, you may find it lacking a little bit of that wild edge. Especially if your hair is very thick, you will have trouble copying this style. For all other hair types, you can definitely get this look with a little attention to detail. It will take some time. Breaking your hair away in small strands while you style them will be repetitive. Take each strand and wrap it onto your curling iron and warm the hair briefly. Then turn your curling iron vertically and slowly unwind each strand. And then repeat all the way around the head from root to tip of each strand. Use a little hairspray to hold in place and you will be able to run on stage all day too!
