Straight Hair With Bangs
Braided styles are very much in fashion for both winter and summer of 2010. There are literally hundreds of braided styles that you can choose from. Some styles are more modern versions of classic styles, while other braided styles are still the original classics that people fell in love with hundreds of years ago. The advantage of braids is that they are easy (once you learn how to braid) and fast. You can do many things. For example – braid your hair in a long braid. You have a lovely casual style that you can add ribbons or clips to in order to dress it up. Need something more fancy? Roll that braid up into a bun, secure with pins, and add accessories as needed. Milkmaid braids, French braids, side braids, and more are all great choices. If you need even more reason why you should try braids, think about this. Braids are perfect to keep your hair clean and out of your way. In hot weather, braids are also very cool.

Short hairstyles are very popular for hot summer months of 2010. All kinds of bobs are perfect. Asian women are often the envy of others for their beautiful hair. Straight, glossy, and always glamorous, Asian hair is incredible no matter what style it is worn in. While many Asians are embracing short and trendy styles, longer, styles that are more traditional are still very popular and are as beautiful as they ever were. Here are two Asian styles that are simply gorgeous.
Short and Messy
A cute Asian hairstyle is short, messy layers. This cut is a bob style that can be short or medium in length, depending on personal preference. There are long layers cut all throughout the hair to give it movement and some texture while the bangs are kept long and swept to the side over one eye. The style looks like you just got out of bed, and if you want to make it your own, simply add gel to hair that you’ve towel dried. Blow dry your gelled hair with a round brush and add wax to the ends to give it a textured look.
Long and Blunt
A long, angled cut with blunt bangs is another beautiful Asian style. In this style, the bangs are cut blunt and are just above the eyebrows. The rest of the hair is cut into long, ruler straight sides that are angled at the ends, just slightly, in the front. This cut is too severe for some face shapes, so make sure that you check with your stylist to make sure that you will look great with this cut. To make your hair perfectly sleek and smooth, use a flat iron and a smoothing serum to make sure that your hair stays in place.

If you have naturally curly hair, then you can finally breathe a sigh of relief – curly hair is sexy in 2010. Multi-colored hair is also very popular this year, and the bolder the colors, the better the hair. You’ll find this style more with the punk and Emo crowds. Side parts, no matter what length your hair, are great trends, and highlights that add sparkle, shine, and dimension to your hairstyles are essential. Whatever your style, this year make sure to set it off with a side part, highlights, and lots of loose, bouncing curls.

The hair is normally layered 1 to 2 inches all over the head, with the front combed forward in order to form a fringe. This style can be adapted to suit any face, but those who already have long faces – such as diamond shaped faces – should be careful that their faces don’t appear to be even longer.
Short, spiky styles are very popular with boys. In these styles, the hair is cut into short layers, and gel is used to spike the top into small spikes.
